My name is Julie and I’m a fine artist who enjoys expressing my love of the outdoors through my paintings. I especially love landscapes because I get to try to capture God’s majesty in the mountains, lakes, oceans, flowers, critters, and especially – THE SKY!  I hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy creating it and sharing it with you.

Something new at the easel today. I’m not sure why but I tried something different today. I never start a painting at the bottom (foreground). I always begin with the sky so I can build a light source…I also always have an underpainting
